In the section devoted to GEA for schools, we promote environmental and cultural education through captivating learning itineraries and immersive experiences. GEA is committed to providing schools with a structured and personalised educational offering designed to stimulate curiosity, promote environmental awareness, and facilitate students’ personal growth.

Coordination and Support

GEA’s educational activities are coordinated by Ezio Menchi, with scientific supervision by Claudia Capponi. Our team of experts is available to support teachers in the organisation of instructional programmes adapted to the specific requirements of their classes.

Our Teaching Tools

GEA provides a unique training environment that includes a great many possibilities.

The GEA Park: a vast natural area that provides a variety of environments and habitats, ideal for direct observation of flora and fauna.

The Classroom in the Woods: an open-air space devoted to immersive learning that allows students to connect with nature and to develop practical activities.

The Greenhouse Laboratory: Provided with modern equipment, this laboratory offers interactive and multimedia lessons on subjects such as botany, biology, chemistry, and agriculture.

Ways of Participating

Schools can participate in GEA’s educational activities in different ways.

Open GEA: Teachers can use GEA’s spaces to develop their own instructional programmes without necessarily adhering to our catalogue of activities.

Welcome to the Park: guided tours to explore the beauty of GEA Park and discover the flora and fauna of our ecosystem.

Teaching-training programmes: GEA offers complete educational programmes in the study of ecology, delving deeply into themes of specific interest.

GEA and ‘Yes … Brilliant!’: The activities designed by GEA can be linked to the creation of ingenious projects for the Caript Foundation’s ‘Sì…Geniale!’ (Yes … Brilliant!’) competition.
